This week has been insane... of course, living in London I'm talking about the rioting. Though, its no longer just about London, since its been happening in cities all over England... Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Liverpool, Nottingham, Bristol etc.
It's disgusting that people could be so destructive and careless about ruining peoples lives and destroying communities.
Its made me so angry seeing this all happen and the tension has been horrible - constantly watching the news hoping there hasn't been more, making sure you get home early or getting thousands of worried texts if you aren't, seeing shops closed and boarded up by 4pm.
Things have calmed down now, hopefully they stay that way.
At least in all of this you can see some good, in all the communities pulling together to protect others and their neighbourhood and everyone helping in the recovery by cleaning up the streets.
It's been hard to think about anything else but the UK riots, but I still have my niece to think about.
She's finished her first series of chemo and she's having surgery on Monday. I'm trying to stay positive, and have faith in the surgeons and doctors, but I still worry. It's hard not to since she's just a baby.
Other than the above, I have a major headache -.-
...I wonder why.
